Have you seen the Netflix series “Tidying Up” with Marie Kondo? Not only is Marie a delight but, I love her message of creating joy within your home and among your favorite possessions. Her tidying up method always leads with deciding whether a particular object, piece of clothing, book or sentimental item creates a spark of joy for you. If it does not, it is time to thank it for being in your life and let it go.

I am currently going through this challenge myself with moving rooms around in our home. We have accumulated a lot of stuff over the past 28 years as well as many memories. These past few months we have completely cleared out and converted our family recreation/TV room into my new expanded home office.

It feels so good to be utilizing that happy childhood play space as a launching pad for my Mother Trees business. This room housed my children and their playmates for the last two decades. We created forts, castles, pirate ships, played for hours with cars, trucks and trains and enjoyed innumerable other imaginative adventures in that room.
I miss those sweet days! Yet, I am so excited to journey forward with supporting moms and babies on their new exciting adventures.

Just like our homes, our bodies can also be filled with unwanted memories, emotions and stories that suppress our joy. If it is time for a decluttering of the heart, I am ready to facilitate a “tidying up” of your mind, body and soul.

May your joy be abundant this year!

In health and joy,

Susan
